Overmoulding

We are equipped with vertical moulding presses which have the big advantage to show horizontally to the worker the jointing plane of the mould. These moldings conditions are well adapted to inserts and to remove parts from the mould.

Indeed to decrease costs of some small series moulds, we plan to use a worker who intervenes during each injection cycle on the moulded part. He does some unscrewing, pitting or add some part to be overmoulded as screws, bearings… It is also possible to overmould an other plastic part in some conditions, which allows to realize bi-material parts with low cost (soft seal on stiff part, “soft touch” area, transparent glass integrated in a colored part…)
